Alecrim ao Chiado
2 Nights with breakfast included, and ½ day of guided tour in Lisbon.
Located in the heart of Lisbon, Alecrim ao Chiado is an antique house, built after the 1755 earthquake. Its interior charm and its excellent location fascinated the current owners who, without hesitation, dedicated themselves to its complete renovation.
Alecrim ao Chiado is located in the heart of the Chiado neighbourhood, less than 5 minutes walk from the main points of interest in the city of Lisbon. It is also very well served in terms of public transport, with subway, train and buses less than 3 minutes’ walk from the Hotel.
Hotel Casa Palmela
2 nights with breakfast included and a dinner for 2. Includes wine tasting and guided tour to Casa Museu José Maria da Fonseca.
An Old Manor House, inserted in a property with more than 70 hectares, has a past that dates back to the 17th century. The Hotel Casa Palmela is a property classified with Municipal Interest because of its architecture and tiles. Recovered in the 1970s for a family home, and underwent works in 2016 to adapt it to a five Star Hotel.
Located in the heart of the Arrábida Natural Park, which the same entity approved like a nature tourism hotel, Hotel Casa Palmela offers a unique stay, of luxury and comfort, in perfect harmony with Nature.
It has 21 rooms with views of the Serra da Arrábida and the gardens of the house, a restaurant for guests with a focus on regional cuisine and three bars, one which is outside serving the garden and the pool. You will also find a store opened to the public with has a variety of regional gastronomic products, cheeses, wines and sweets.
Program:
1º day – Arrival at Alecrim ao Chiado
On this day you can check in from 2 pm
2-night stay in bed and breakfast.
During your stay in Lisbon, enjoy a ½ day visit with a guide and take the opportunity to discover all the charms of the city centre.
Chiado / Baixa / Castelo S. Jorge / Alfama / Terreiro Paço / Chiado
In this intense route, we will cross Lisbon’s nerve centre of tourism, passing through essential points, mixing the noticeable with some lesser-known pearls. Departing from Largo Camões, we will walk along Rua Garrett, Rua do Carmo, Rossio, Restauradores and Baixa. We will take the transport to Castelo de S. Jorge, where we will be able to see perhaps the best view over Lisbon and then descend the streets again on foot, meandering through Alfama, culminating the walk in Terreiro do Paço. Then we will return to the hotel on Rua Augusta.
3º day – transfer to the rent-a-car where you can pick up your car for 3 days and move to the
Hotel Casa Palmela
2 night stay with breakfast included and a dinner for two, drinks not included.
Enjoy the charms of the Serra da Arrábida and enjoy the wines of the region with a Wine Tasting and guided tour of the José Maria da Fonseca Museum House (2 White Wines, 2 Red Wines, Alambre Moscatel of Setúbal, MF (new), Caldo verde (green soup) with corn bread, various pates, various cheeses and Portuguese sausages, Tortas de Azeitão, “Estes de Azeitão” and various breads and toasts.
The visit begins at the Museum Room with a brief explanation of the company’s history. After a walk in the garden, you can visit the Wineries: Adega da Mata, where the Periquita wine ages, the Adega dos Teares Novos, where the Periquita Confraria takes place annually, and the Adega dos Teares Velhos, where the oldest moscatels of the house rest.
At the end of the visit, two wines taste, red or white and Moscatel of Setúbal, are offered.
